Welcome to Sigma Key Tech, developed by Astfast Infotech Pvt Ltd. By downloading, installing, or accessing our student safety and monitoring mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope of Service
Sigma Key Tech is an educational monitoring application developed by Astfast Infotech Pvt Ltd and designed for parents and guardians. The App is a direct continuity of the school attendance management software and backend server hosted at sigmakey.tech. It displays real-time student and teacher entry/exit timestamps generated by physical RFID reader gates, compiles attendance histories, and displays school notice board bulletins (Academic, Events, and Emergency categories).
2. Account Access and Credentials
Access to the App is strictly controlled to maintain student security:
- No Public Registration: Users cannot register or create accounts within the App. Accounts are provisioned exclusively by enrolled school administrators who add parent emails to the secure database at
sigmakey.tech. - Temporary Credentials: You will log in initially using a temporary default password provided by your school.
- Password Security: You must update your password inside the App immediately upon first login. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Device Requirements and Connectivity
To access real-time logs, the App requires active internet connectivity. Since the App fetches logs via private APIs connecting to the portal at sigmakey.tech, any latency, network outage, or physical RFID hardware malfunction at the school site may impact the speed or accuracy of entry/exit displays. We are not liable for delayed notifications caused by local ISP outages or local school hardware disruptions.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the App only for legitimate personal student-monitoring purposes. You agree NOT to:
- Decrypt, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App or its private API endpoints.
- Access or attempt to access profiles or logs of students for whom you are not the registered parent or legal guardian.
- Manipulate, falsify, or tamper with the database hosted at
sigmakey.tech. - Use any automated software, bots, or scrapers to extract notices or attendance metrics from our systems.
5. Intellectual Property
All brand logos, graphics, interfaces, and proprietary algorithms used in the App and on the support domain astfast.in are the exclusive intellectual property of Sigma Key Tech and its development partner Astfast Infotech Pvt Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to reproduce or use our branding elements without prior written consent.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. While we make every effort to sync data securely and accurately with sigmakey.tech, we do not warrant that the application will be entirely error-free, that the physical RFID cards will always scan successfully, or that data updates will be instant under all circumstances. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.
7. Account Termination and Deactivation
We or the school portal administrators at sigmakey.tech reserve the right to suspend or terminate your App access if you violate these Terms, if the student ceases enrollment, or if requested by school authorities. Parents can also request deactivation via our Data Deletion Request Page.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with local national laws. Any legal disputes arising out of the use of this service shall be handled under the exclusive jurisdiction of our local courts.
